The song's original name was "black snow" (inspired by the 1989 oil spill in Alaska).

The song's later version starts with the noise of squeaking steel, somehow reminding the tanker being ripped apart. It also features a dixie/breakbeat rhythm, joined by accordion synths and Patrick's typical guitar and is available on our compilation "the early years 1998-2000".
